Thanks as always. The art of using what you already have is great. My Les Paul Studio de Luxe is about 10 years old. My amp has way too many sound options, which is a real distraction at times, although it can help the muse. But it was a few years after I bought it that I watched some videos that explained how to get a wide variety of tonality using the knobs, which have the pop out function as well as just as straight pots. In hindsight, I should have learned more about my new instrument at the time I bought it, and then used the option to mess around.

I'd love to pick up a Les Paul in the future. I've always said my next guitar will be a PRS core model, but they've just been priced way out of my range, especially after the last couple of years.
